I’m a writer by trade, which is helpful when it comes to voicing the words of other writers. The intent behind things like punctuation and word choice are something I instinctually understand.
My voice has been described as a “dram of smooth bourbon filtered through the well-worn cotton undershirt of seasoned longshoreman, served in a cracked crystal highball glass over shards of glacial ice and finished with a light sprinkling of Saharan dust.”
I made that last part up. But if that quote were real, I’d say it sounds about right.
